Marketing agencies and other creative professionals share the same struggles as many business owners in the service industry: managing time between projects, communicating value to clients and suffering cash flow bottlenecks. Unfortunately, accounting is often placed on the backburner with other administrative tasks — which can quickly cause problems.
Chris Hervochon, CPA, CVA saw a need in the marketing industry to combine the world of left-brain financial analytics with the world of right-brain creativity. Traditionally, marketing agency owners and other creative professionals don’t have the time or the expertise for complex financial planning and strategy.
Why marketing and accounting belong together
Much like digital marketing professionals, our firm utilizes cloud technology, automation, and data analytics to inform strategic decision-making. We combine traditional accounting services with data analytics, dashboarding and strategic advice.
As an accounting firm specializing in marketing agencies, we provide such accounting services as bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting, data analytics and tax preparation and planning.

Financial strategy that helps marketing agencies grow
Much like marketing agencies, we operate in the world of big data. We provide next level services for marketing agencies and their clients with:
- Technology management and software consulting
- Building and/or implementing software automation
- KPI development
- Dashboarding
While accounting and marketing may seem like an unlikely pair, the two industries share the same goal: to create a successful business that is profitable with positive cash flow.
